THEFT
On Wednesday, 7/31/19, a report was taken in reference to a theft which occurred in the 400 block of WCR 26. The suspects are unknown.
DEATH
On July 31, 2019, Longmont officers investigated a death in the 400 block of County Road 26. An adult female passed away of unknown causes. The case has been turned over to detectives and is open.
AUTO THEFT
On Wednesday, 7/31/19, a report was taken in reference to an aggravated motor vehicle theft which occurred on Gardner Drive. The suspects are unknown.
SEX ASSAULT
On July 31, 2019 at approximately 1533 hours the Longmont Police Department responded to an unlawful sexual contact that occurred at a store in the 2100 Block of Main Street. An adult male grabbed an adult female employee's buttock. The case is cleared with a warrant.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Monday, July 1, 2019, Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to Martin Street and 3rd Avenue, on a report of a hit and run collision, involving two vehicles. Case is open.
HARASSMENT
On 7/18/19, officers responded to the area of 5th Avenue and Martin Street on a welfare check of an adult male. Upon further investigation, a possible domestic violence incident was revealed. This case is pending further investigation.
HARASSMENT
On 7/29/19, officers responded to the 700 block of Martin Street regarding possible harassment between an adult male and an adult female. The claims could not be substantiated.
ATTEMPT TO LOCATE
On 7/30/19, Longmont Police investigated persons attempting to harbor and abet a fugitive. One suspect was placed under arrest, and two others will have warrants drafted for their arrests. Case is open.
HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to a hit and run collision involving two vehicles, at Alpine Street and Highway 66. Case is open.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Wednesday, 7/31/19, a report was taken in reference to a criminal mischief which occurred in the 400 block of 23rd Avenue. The suspect is unknown.
MITTIMUS ARREST
On 07/30/19 at 1507 hours a Longmont Police Officer was assigned a mittimus arrest in the Longmont Municipal Court. An adult female was sentenced to serve twenty days in the Boulder County Jail. The adult female was taken into custody and transported to jail. The case was cleared by arrest.
SHOPLIFT
On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, officers responded to a shoplift on the 500 block of South Hover Street. An investigation was conducted and a summons was issued. Case is cleared by arrest, summons issued.
VICIOUS DOG
On July 30, 2019, Longmont Police were dispatched to a vicious animal complaint in the 1400 block of South Collyer Street. An adult male was contacted, case is cleared by summons.
SHOPLIFT
On July 30, 2019 at approximately 2118 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Main Street. An adult female was arrested on warrants, narcotics, and issued a summons for shoplift.
WARRANT ARREST
On July 30, 2019 Longmont Police responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of Lashley Street. One adult male was contacted and arrested for an outstanding warrant. Case is cleared by arrest.
DRUG VIOLATION
On July 30, 2019 at around 2320 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 1700 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard for a welfare check. An adult female was arrested for drug possession.
WARRANT ARREST
On Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at about 0343 hours, Longmont Police contacted an adult male in the 1200 block of Main Street. The male was arrested for an active warrant out of the Loveland Police Department. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail and held on a
$150.00 bond.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Wednesday, 7/31/19 at 0739 hours, Longmont Police Officers investigated a Robbery, First Degree Criminal Trespass, Domestic Violence Incident which took place in the 900 block of Atwood Street in the city of Longmont. This case is open and referred to officers for
follow-up.
THEFT
A Longmont resident in the 00 block of Telluride Place reported a theft of medication. The resident did not to pursue an investigation and the case was closed.
ASSAULT
On Wednesday, July 30, 2019, officers responded to the 1700 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard in response to an assault. An investigation was conducted.
FOLLOW UP
On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.
CIVIL
A Longmont resident reported a civil issue which occurred in the 1500 block of Taylor Mountain Drive. Case is for informational purposes only.
INFORMATION
On July 31, 2019, Officers responded to the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue on report a possibly elder neglect. An informational report was taken.
HARASSMENT
On July 31, 2019 at approximately 2017 hours the Longmont Police Department took a report of an assault that occurred in the 1600 block of Kimbark Street. The victim stated he didn't know the male. The case is closed unless further leads develop.
