Have you ever wondered what, exactly, the City of Longmont does for its residents? Human Services is one area, out of many, that a city government provides direction and funding in. Human Service Agency Funding Program
The table below provides information regarding the currently funded human service agencies. The Agency Description is a brief explanation of the services provided, agencies may provide additional services/programs not included in the table.

| Inn Between | $35,000 | Provides time-limited housing and support services for Longmont's diverse homeless population, so that they may acquire stability in their lives, as well as increased skill and/or income level. Services are provided through Inn Between and participating agency staff; these services include: housing, employment assistance, educational services, food co-op, counseling, independent living and life skills classes, parenting classes, and linkages to numerous other resources. |

| Mental Health Partners | $115,000 | Provides outpatient therapy for children, adolescents, adults and families; home-based services for families with infants at risk of abuse or neglect and for emotionally disturbed elderly persons; services for adults with severe mental illnesses, including supported housing; day treatment and residential services for severely disturbed children and adolescents; rape crisis and emergency psychiatric services. |
