On Dec. 5, the newly elected Longmont City Council members were sworn in. For Sean McCoy, Susie Hildago Fahring and Mayor Joan Peck, the event signaled a continuation of their tenure. Diane Crist took her seat for the first time.
During the meeting, the seven council members selected which boards and commissions they wanted to serve on. Council members attend board and commission meetings throughout the city to keep their pulse on what is happening.
