Landsea Homes Corporation announced Wednesday the groundbreaking on 28 paired homes on the southwest corner of Hwy 66 and Sundance Drive in Spring Valley.

"The groundbreaking of Spring Valley marks a significant milestone in our growth journey in Colorado and brings us one step closer to becoming a leading homebuilder in the state," said Lisa Wiebelhaus, Colorado Division President of Landsea Homes.

Landsea is builds residential homes and is based out of Dallas, Texas. It is known for building homes that reflect modern living with smart home automation technology that utilizes the Apple Home environment. Some of these features include an Apple HomePod mini, wireless network internet throughout the home, entry door locks, thermostat control, garage door opener control, light dimmer switches, a doorbell camera and smart home activation by a Best Buy Geek Squad team member.

Not only will these homes offer modern technology, but Landsea also works to create sustainable communities.

“We believe living comfortably and saving money goes hand in hand. From heating and cooling efficiencies to enhanced insulation, tankless water heaters and Energy Star rated appliances, the inclusion of these features adds to overall efficiency by saving energy and lowering utility bills,” said Lisa Wiebelhaus, Colorado division president of Landsea Homes.

Prices for the homes have yet to be determined. According to Wiebelhaus, “Spring Valley will be an ideal community for entry-level homebuyers looking to break into the housing market. Plus, we are offering unbeatable incentives to make buying a home more achievable than ever.”

The developer has built other communities in Colorado in Mead, Johnstown and Brighton. The homes in Brighton and Mead are single-family homes. The homes in Johnstown are paired homes and range from two- to four-bedroom homes between 1,159 and 1,643 sq. ft. The home prices for the Johnstown community range from roughly $380,000 to $424,400.
