NEWS RELEASE
LONGMONT AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
*************************

The Longmont Chamber is currently hosting a new “Business Climate Study.” This is not a Chamber membership survey or solicitation. The survey takes just a few minutes to complete, but will give us valuable insight into the challenges of operating a business as well as opportunities for business growth. All collected data will be kept anonymous and will be reported out in aggregate.  Data will be shared with the business community, economic partners, the City of Longmont and our elected leaders.

Currently in the survey responses, we are seeing inflation, cost of employee benefits, availability of skilled labor and to some extent, the regulatory climate as concerns for businesses across all sectors. This information is already impacting our advocacy conversations with local, state and federal leaders and we are also using it to introduce new educational programing for businesses like yours.

I would like to ask for a few minutes of your time to reply to the survey. Your answers will continue to make Longmont a great place to do business. If you like, you can choose to leave your contact information and we will invite you to future focus group meetings to further discuss your survey responses and thoughts.
