How Boulder County is managing its weed problem

Boulder County will host a panel discussion on the state of science for integrated weed management. Registration is required. 

The event will be held as a webinar on Tuesday, March 12, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. as part of the Integrated Weed Management Plan update process. The webinar will be facilitated by the Keystone Policy Center. Questions from the public will be welcomed. A recording of the event will be posted to boco.org/weeds after the event.

Panelists include:

  • Tim Seastedt, PhD, Professor Emeritus, University of Colorado
  • Scott Nissen, PhD, Professor Emeritus, Colorado State University
  • Dan Tekiela, PhD, University of Wyoming and USDA Invasive Plan Program Manager & Pesticide Use Coordinator, State, Private, and Tribal Forestry
  • Diana Obregon, PhD, Cornell University, Post-Doctoral Research Associate, NYS Integrated Pest Management
