The Dougherty Museum, which showcases Boulder County’s antique vehicles, opens for the season Friday, Aug. 6. The museum is located at 8306 North 107th Street, one mile south of Longmont on the east side of U.S. 287.
The museum is home to a collection of beautifully restored automobiles dating back 100 years, according to a Boulder County news release. Many are in running order. Several Stanley Steamers, used to take guests up the Stanley Hotel, are also on display.
The museum also has musical instruments, phonographs, farming equipment and other antiques, the news release states.
Hours of operation are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the month of August.
Admission is $7 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-12. Children under 6 years of age are admitted free.
