The city of Longmont announced that Hover Street between Nelson Road and Boston Avenue will be under construction for four weeks.
The contractor plans to have one lane of traffic open for traffic headed north or south for the duration of the project. When possible, the contractor will open two lanes during peak-hour traffic. In the morning two lanes headed southbound will be open and in the evening the contractor will open two lanes northbound.
Delays are expected during the course of construction and drivers are encouraged to find alternative routes.
