Several trails in Boulder County are temporarily closed.
Coalton Trailhead, Coalton Trail and Meadowlark Trail are closed for construction and cattle grazing. It is expected to reopen in early 2024.
Tolland Ranch closed on Nov. 1 for the season. It is expected to reopen in June 2024.
Trails west of Heatherwood Walden Link and west of the boardwalk on Cottonwood Marsh, including the trail around the Duck Pond will reopen on March 15. The trails are closed due to the city of Boulder's Main Sewer Improvement project.
Ron Stewart Preserve at Rabbit Mountain remains closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for elk management through limited hunting.
Nighthawk Trail at Hall Ranch is closed due to muddy conditions.
A detour is in place at Cradleboard Trail to protect local wildlife.
