Yore, a 'mom and pop shop' located in downtown Longmont, is hosting their second annual holiday market on Friday, December 8, 2017.
The market this year, according to Savannah Johnson, owner of Yore, "will be more than double the size of last year's, both in size of the space and number of vendors.
"Most vendors at the market are Longmont-based with a few from Denver. Longtucky Spirits will be selling cocktails, FairIsle Coffee will be doing warm drinks and we are finalizing food details now," said Johnson in an email to the Longmont Observer.
Local vendors include, but not limited to, Fierce Box Art, BRYLO, Longmont Bicycle Company, Plains to Peaks Chocolate, Blade & Knoll, Sweet Letterpress, Colorado Crafted, Madalmy Soap Company, Longtucky Spirits, BBP, and more.
This year the holiday market will have a new venue: The St.Vrain.
"We are so fortunate to be working with The St. Vrain, they have created such a beautiful space and we can't wait for more people to see it," said Johnson.
Also new is that the market is being held during Downtown Longmont's December second Friday, which means many of the shops and galleries will be open later than normal. It's also a stop on the BrewHop Trolley's route.
"I'm just excited to highlight the creative community we have here and encourage people to shop more locally for the holiday season," said Johnson.
"Really all of the vendors are amazing and unique, I hope that there will be a little something for everyone."
The holiday market will take place on December 8, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The St. Vrain, located at 635 3rd Ave in Longmont. For more information, please visit the Yore Facebook event page.
