The Winter Walkabout Music Showcase is scheduled for Feb. 3 from 2-9:30 p.m. in Downtown Longmont. The Longmont Downtown Development Authority is looking for volunteers to take shifts from noon to 9:30 p.m.
The Winter Walkabout is an indoor music festival that takes place at roughly 15 locations in Downtown Longmont. Over 50 performances by local and regional musicians will take place during the event.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. Shifts for the event are expected to run between four to five hours with duties depending on the venue assigned.
Those who volunteer will get a ticket to the Winter Walkabout — a $40 value — to use before or after their shift, a “Showcasde Team” t-shirt, commemorative pin-back button, a volunteer credential lanyard and access to the Green Room.
Volunteers are required to attend an orientation on Jan. 29 from 5:30-6 p.m. at the LDDA office, located at 320 Main St. Volunteers can sign up here.
