With Longmont Restaurant Week starting this Friday, April 20th, the Longmont Observer will be publishing previews of the $18.71 menu.

Dillon Boveri, general manager for the Post in Longmont, invited the Longmont Observer to preview the menu as well as answer a few questions.

Why did you choose the items on the menu for Longmont Restaurant Week?

We wanted to showcase the fried chicken and the chicharrones were recently featured in Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. We also wanted people to taste the beer that we brew. Overall, it is a nice looking and composed meal: fried chicken, a side, and beer.

Preview of The Posts' restaurant week menu:

Crispy Bone-in Fried Chicken (2-piece Fried Chicken served with house pickles and chorizo country gravy), Buttermilk Cheddar Biscuit with whipped honey butter, and mashed potatoes.

Chicken Chicharrones (green chile pinto bean hummus, garlic mojo, crisp veggies)
