On 05/16/2024, Longmont Police attempted a traffic stop in the 800 block of 17th Ave. The unknown subject operating the vehicle eluded officers. A report was taken.
ROBBERY
On Thursday, May 16, 2024, at approximately 0330 hours, an adult male was confronted by six juvenile males in the area of Mountain View and Collyer Street. The juveniles demanded money and when the male stated that he did not have any money, the juveniles assaulted the male and took his property. The case has been sent to the investigation unit for follow up.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Thursday 05/16/2024 at approximately 1200 hours the police received a call for service in relation to a restraining order violation that occurred in the 1900 block Mountain View Avenue. The violation was unfounded and this report is generated for informational purposes.
AUTO THEFT
On 051624, officers took a report of auto theft from the 100 block of Primrose Ct involving an unknown suspect.
BURGLARY
On Thursday 5/16/24 at around 1900 hours, Longmont Police Department officers responded to the 2500 block of Sunset Dr reference a disturbance. A male adult was later taken into custody.
DUI
On 05/16/2024, at approximately 1930 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Main St. an adult male was contacted and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
AUTO THEFT
On 05/16/2024, officers with the Longmont Police Department responded to the 500 block of Coffman St., on the report of a missing person.
ASSAULT
On May 13, 2024 Longmont officers received a report of an assault that occurred in the 4600 block of Clover Basin Drive on May 12, 2024. A juvenile male assaulted another juvenile male. That male was identified however family did not want to pursue charges.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On 05/14/2024 at approximately 0827 hours, officers responded to 605 S. Emory St. regarding a criminal mischief that occurred. A 32-year-old male suspect was identified and citation issued. Case closed
THEFT
On 05/15/2024, Officers took a report regarding a theft.
DISTURBANCE
On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, officers responded to the 2000 block of Terry St on the report of a disturbance and a report was taken.
FRAUD
On Thursday, 05/16/24, a report was taken reference an identity theft that did not occur in Longmont.
TRAFFIC STOP
On May 16th 2024, officers initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of 21st Ave and Main Street. One adult male was issued a citation for traffic related charges. Case cleared by arrest-Summons issued.
ATTEMPT TO LOCATE
On Thursday May 16, 2024 at 0930 hours officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Kimbark St reference a warrant arrest.
MISSING PERSON
On Wednesday May 16, 2024, at approximately 2011 hours, Longmont Officers were dispatched to a missing person in the area of 3rd Ave and Emery St, Longmont, Co. An adult male was contacted and a report was taken.
SHOPLIFT
On May 16, 2024 Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of S. Hover St. on the report of a shoplift.
