Upon arrival, the man did not have the money and an argument ensued, with the man slapping and shoving the woman and taking off in her car. The man later called the woman telling her the car was in a ditch at Colo. 66 and Colo. 85. A witness told Platteville police she saw the vehicle drive into a ditch and a man fled on foot.

An unmarked car was dispatched for surveillance at the house in the 900 block of Pasque Drive.
