FRAUD 

An employee of a business in the 600 block of Frontage Road on Aug. 26 reported fraud. This case is open.

AUTO THEFT 

A resident on Aug. 27 reported auto theft in the 2500 block of Sunset Drive. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

An employee of a business in the 2300 block of Main Street on Aug. 27 reported an incident of littering and graffiti. There are no investigative leads.

WARRANT ARREST 

On Aug. 26, police responded to the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue regarding a disturbance. A 39-year-old man was arrested on unrelated outstanding warrants. This case is closed.

DUI 

On Aug. 26 at approximately 2142 hours, police responded to the 4500 block Redmond Drive in relation to a possible hit-and-run collision. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block Peck Drive and a man was arrested for DUI. The case is cleared by arrest.

TRESPASS 

On Aug. 26  at about 2212 hours, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Weld County Road 26 for a report of a suspicious situation. An individual was contacted and released on a summons.

INJURY ACCIDENT 

On Aug. 26, police responded to the intersection of Main Street and Ninth Avenue regarding a crash. A 42-year-old man was taken to Longmont United Hospital with serious injuries. This case is open.

MISSING PERSON 

On Aug. 27 at approximately 0122 hours, police responded to the 600 block Peck Drive in relation to a missing person. The missing person returned while the investigation was being conducted.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST 

The Cyber Crime Unit of the Longmont Police Department assisted another agency with an investigation by providing digital analysis support. All inquiries need to be directed to the other agency as this is an open investigation.

WELFARE CHECK 

On Aug. 27, police responded to the 1100 block of Main Street on multiple reports regarding a woman who appeared “out of it” and was walking down the street with no pants on. The woman was discovered to have multiple medical and mental health concerns. She was placed into protective custody and transported to a nearby hospital, where she was placed on a mental health hold.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT 

On Aug. 27, a man was placed on a mental health protection hold in the 700 block of Main Street.

SEX ASSAULT 

On Aug. 24, police responded to the 1400 block of Lincoln Circle in reference to a sexual exploitation of a minor. The case is open and referred to detectives.

BURGLARY 

On Aug. 25, officers took a burglary report in the 1600 block of Kimbark Street. There are no suspects.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

On Aug. 25 at about 2357 hours, police found three vehicles parked near 19th Avenue and Kimbark Street with their doors open.

ASSAULT 

On Aug. 26, police responded to the 1400 block of Red Mountain Drive in reference to an alleged assault. A man stated he had been assaulted by a known man, who fled the scene prior to police arrival. This case is under investigation.

FRAUD 

A mandatory reporter on Aug. 26 filed a report of elder financial exploitation. Information was taken and forwarded for investigation.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On Aug. 26, officers responded to the area of Holly Avenue and Judson Street in reference to a possible domestic violence incident. A man and woman were contacted and the woman was later arrested for domestic violence. Cleared by arrest.

SHOPLIFT 

On Aug. 26, officers responded to the 2500 block of Main Street in reference to shoplifting. Case cleared by arrest.

INJURY ACCIDENT 

On Aug. 26, officers responded to the area of Third Avenue and Pace Street in reference to a possible injury accident. A man was contacted and later arrested for DUI. Cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

On Aug. 26, police responded to the 2200 block of Third Avenue on the report of a disturbance. A juvenile male damaged a man's property. Investigation continues.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 

On Aug. 26, police took a report of a suspicious situation in the 0 block of 19th Avenue. 

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On Aug. 26, police received information referencing a possible ongoing protection order violation in the 1300 block of Dogwood Lane. The available information was collected, and an arrest warrant is being sought for a known suspect.

SHOPLIFT 

On Aug. 27, officers responded to the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard on a shoplifting report. A summons was issued and this case is closed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

A resident on Aug. 27 reported an incident of vandalism in the 800 block of Rees Court. There are no investigative leads.

CHILD 

On Aug. 27, officers responded to the 900 block of Wolf Creek Drive in reference to alleged child abuse that occurred in the 2400 block of Airport Road.

DUI 

On Aug. 27, officers responded to the 1800 block of Hover Street on a report of a man passed out at the wheel of a vehicle in the middle of the road. The man was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Case cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST 

On Aug. 27, officers responded to the 200 block of Kimbark Street on a warrant. A 38-year-old man was arrested. Case is cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

On Aug. 27 at approximately 2214 hours, officers responded to the 700 block of Coffman Street in reference to a criminal mischief call. A 26-year-old man was cited for damaging an RTD bus window.

FOLLOW-UP 

On Aug. 27, police began investigating a man for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.

ASSAULT 

On Aug. 27, officers took a report of a possible assault that occurred in the 1700 block of 11th Avenue. There are no identifiable suspects at this time.
