Anti-Trump Protestors March in the Streets of Denver on Wednesday

Protestors involved in the 50501 protest outside the Denver Capitol Building marched with signs in the streets of downtown Denver.

A march in protest of Donald Trump, Project 25, and the deportation of Mexican people began around 1 p.m. this afternoon on the block of 13th and 14th streets near the Denver Capitol Building. The march appeared to be directly related to the 50501 protest that is occurring simultaneously on the west steps of the capitol building.

Chants heard during the march included “the people united will never be defeated,” “f___ Donald Trump,” “Musk is a Nazi,” “this is what democracy looks like,” and  “say it once say it twice we will not put up with ICE.”

Some signs held by people walking in the march read “silence is compliance,” “resist the oligarchy,” and “no one is illegal on stolen land.”

Roads where the march took place were closed off by police.

The march was still in progress at 1:45 p.m. MST.
