Michael Wilhoite, a 38-year-old outside linebackers coach for the Denver Broncos, was arrested on February 23 and charged with second-degree assault on a peace officer. He was booked into the Downtown Detention Center, in Denver. He is scheduled to appear in court at 10:30 a.m. this morning.
A Denver Broncos spokesperson told FOX31 that the team is “aware of a situation involving Michael Wilhoite that occurred Sunday” and is “in the process of gathering more information.”
Additional information about the situation between Wilhoite and the peace officer and Wilhoite’s arrest has not been made public.
