Solutionaries and Sustainable Resilient Longmont are hosting a "Rethinking the Future of Energy Event" on Monday, July 30 from 6-9 p.m. at Longtucky Spirits, located at 350 Terry St.

According to an informational post by Downtown Longmont, the event includes "a film and panel discussion about opportunities to move Longmont toward its goal of 100% renewable energy by 2030."

The film, Rethinking the Future - Clean Disruption of Energy and Transportation will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The panel discussion will follow the film and will include:

Alyssa Clemson Roberts, Chief Strategy Officer, Platte River Power Authority

Tom Roiniotis, Manager, Longmont Power & Communications

Brian Bagley, Longmont Mayor

Marcia Martin, Longmont City Council
